Dispensing Lines, Arc's, Circles and Spirals possible with Dotmaster upgrade kits!

DIMA SMT Systems is proud to announce the release of three upgrade kits for the successful Dotmaster Dispensing Robot. These upgrade kits enable the Dotmaster to no longer dispense only dots, but also lines, arcs, circles and spirals. This makes the Dotmaster into a multi-purpose high-performing desktop dispensing system with advanced robotic technologies. The Dotmaster can be used for time/pressure dispensing as well as for volumetric dispensing.
There are three possible degrees to upgrade an existing Dotmaster; a Basic upgrade kit containing a new controller and the new software, a Full feature upgrade kit containing the Basic upgrade kit plus a camera, frame grabber and an extra cable and finally the ESI auto alignment software + computer for automatic recognition of fiducials or parts for the most accurate dispensing possible.

Typical new applications for the Dotmaster with the upgrade kit are Glob Top, Dam and Fill, Gaskets, Potting, Coating, Adhesive Bonding etc.
Utilizing the full feature upgrade kit with the camera, the Dotmaster can accurately be programmed utilizing the Windows® based DIMASoft® user interface. Using the same camera, XY-offset and needle height can be programmed after needle exchange. The DIMASoft® user interface includes libraries for fiducials, dot sizes and line widths making it very easy to program any application.

The Dotmaster upgrade kits will be supplied with easy do it yourself instruction manuals. The Dotmaster upgrade kits are fully CE approved and can be delivered within 3 weeks.

Applications can be found in Consumer Electronics, Automotive Electronics, Mobile Phones, Medical or Military Devices and many more. The most common applications are dispensing solder pastes, SMT-adhesives, UV-cure adhesives, RTV seal-ants, epoxies cyanoacrylates, anaerobics and conformal coatings.
